She was all legs and ears.  One day we looked out and there she was in the back yard playing with Adam and Emma.  She had nosed her way through the unlatched gate.  Wearing a harness and collar, she had no tags.  So we check around and advertised her as a lost puppy (she was thought to be six to eight months old) for three weeks.  When no one claimed her we went in search of a permenant home for her.  It wasn't long before this playful and affectionate puppy warmed the hearts of a great family who took her in.
